Every phone is incomplete without a screen. Facebook, games, texts, etc., are all part of daily life. The screen on your phone is useless if you don’t use an external mouse. When the touch screen doesn’t work, it’s very painful.
How To Fix Phone If Not Working?
In order to fix this problem, we will discuss some reasons why it persists and how to fix it.
1. Remove Any External Attached Items On The Screen
Screen protectors protect devices from accidental drops and scratches. This same glass can also cause the “touch screen not working” issue by impeding fingertips from reaching the sensor. Test your phone’s screen by removing the screen protector and removing it if it is unresponsive.
2. Hold Down Power Button Till Device Reboots
When the phone screen isn’t working due to software glitches, restarting the device will fix the issue. Regularly restarting your device helps refresh the memory and fix some software issues.

3. Make Sure Screen Is Not Broken Or Damaged
Does your screen appear to be damaged? If the answer is yes, then that is probably the cause of the problem. Check the screen for damaged or broken glass before blaming a software problem. However, broken screens may still work for weeks or months. However, it’s susceptible to liquid damage. To fix that, you’ll have to visit the repair center.

4. Try Turning Off Developer Options
New features are available in the developing options, mainly for developers and testers of apps. Users must enable this feature before it can be accessed. If you enable a wrong or incompatible developer setting, the phone screen may not work.
If your screen still responds to touch, please disable it from Settings > System > Developer options (or Settings > Developer options on some devices). You can use an OTG adapter to connect a wired mouse to your device.
Try other solutions below or check if the screen responds to touches.
5. In Safe Mode, Turn On Device
Smartphones can be started in Safe mode without apps. It may help you if you are experiencing difficulties with your touch screen due to a third-party application.
Usually, Android devices enter safe mode when you hold the power button. Reboot to Safe mode by holding down Power off.
Note: In TECNO or INFINIX devices, press and hold the HiOS(or XOS) in the power menu until the safe mode option appears.
You should test the touch screen in Safe mode to see if it works flawlessly. The issue is likely to be caused by a third-party application. Uninstall corrupted apps, likely the ones you installed shortly before the incident, to resolve the issue.
As a result, you will need to restart your phone normally if you want to exit safe mode on your phone.
6. Water Accident – Leave It To Dry & Try Again
It is possible to damage the internal part of a device by water or moisture, which causes mobile touch problems. You should turn off your device after dropping it into a pool or getting water on it to let it dry. For a completely dry, put the phone in a bowl of rice.
Test the touch screen on the phone by turning it on or visiting a service center.
